Nigerian police officer Newton Isokpehi has publicly apologised following the circulation of a viral video in which he threatened to kill anyone who filmed him while on duty.

In the clip, Isokpehi was seen angrily warning bystanders against recording his activities, sparking outrage online and raising concerns about police accountability. The video quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing criticism from civil society groups and ordinary Nigerians.
