A group of Iranian lawmakers has urged the country’s leadership to expand the range of its missiles to reach the White House, in what they described as “revenge for the blood” of late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
In a letter addressed to current Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, the lawmakers pledged full support for Iran’s military and defense industries “until the day the range of our missiles reaches the office of Khamenei’s killers.”

The statement also demanded:

• Permanent changes to the Strait of Hormuz, making its pre‑war status “irreversible.”
• Rejection of nuclear negotiations, insisting Iran should not compromise its nuclear capabilities.
• Compensation for war damages, both material and moral.
• Withdrawal of U.S. forces from the region.
• Punishment of aggressors to prevent future attacks.

The lawmakers’ call reflects growing hardline sentiment within Iran’s parliament, particularly after recent escalations in the region. Analysts warn that such rhetoric could heighten tensions with the United States and its allies, especially given the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s missile program.
