The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that American forces have carried out additional “self-defense strikes” against Iran, ordered directly by the Commander in Chief.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes targeted multiple sites inside Iran in response to what it described as “unwarranted and continued aggression.” Explosions were reportedly heard in Sirik, Qeshm Island, Minab, and Isfahan, signaling a rapid escalation of hostilities between Washington and Tehran.
Officials stressed that the mission is intended to protect U.S. forces and deter further Iranian attacks. Analysts warn that the strikes could intensify regional instability, with potential consequences for Gulf allies and global energy markets.
