Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Price to ₦1,075/Litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex‑depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, to ₦1,075 per litre, down from ₦1,125.

The move is expected to trigger another round of price reductions across Nigeria’s downstream petroleum market, easing pressure on consumers and potentially stabilizing supply.

Industry analysts say the refinery’s pricing strategy reflects efforts to strengthen local refining capacity, reduce dependence on imports, and align with broader economic reforms aimed at lowering energy costs.
