Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon has offered Peter Okoye ₦500 million to challenge his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), to a celebrity boxing match. The offer was made publicly during Peter's performance on Sunday night, with a viral video showing Soberekon in the crowd holding up his phone toward the stage, displaying a message that read: "500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match."
The proposal comes amid an ongoing financial dispute between the twins, former members of defunct Afrobeats duo P-Square. Tensions escalated after Peter accused Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of diverting music royalties — allegations Jude has since publicly denied, insisting the matter is already before the EFCC and the courts.
This isn't Soberekon's first attempt to insert himself into the Okoye family saga: in February 2025, he spoke publicly about efforts by prominent Nigerians — including former President Goodluck Jonathan, former First Lady Patience Jonathan, Peter Obi and businessman Emeka Offor — to help reconcile the brothers. He's also previously floated celebrity boxing proposals in other entertainment disputes, including a ₦50 million offer for a bout between Carter Efe and Portable.
