Nollywood actress and evangelist, Tonto Dikeh has launched a new interdenominational Christian fellowship in Abuja called the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT). The 41-year-old announced the initiative via Instagram on Sunday night, describing it as an "interdenominational altar, spiritual home and global movement of consecrated believers" grounded in Mark 2:22 — "no one puts new wine into old wineskins."
Dikeh clarified that NWPT is not a church in the traditional denominational sense, but rather an intense interdenominational fellowship for believers seeking deeper spiritual growth, prayer, revival and what she called the "raw power, purity, and presence of God." She said the movement is focused on spiritual training, healing, deliverance, evangelism and what she termed "Kingdom advancement," aiming to unite Christians across denominational lines rather than start a new one. The fellowship holds its meetings every Friday at 6pm at Omini Grand Hotel (formerly Alexis Hotel) in Jabi, Abuja.
The launch continues a broader shift in Dikeh's public life toward faith and ministry. In December 2025, she shared a testimony at Streams of Joy International Church describing her deliverance from smoking, alcohol addiction and other struggles, saying she had smoked since age 13. She has also taken part in Pastor Jerry Eze's NSPPD prayer community and has signed some of her social media posts as "Ada El Roi." In January 2026, she announced reconciliation with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, roughly a decade after their public separation.
